E-bike Regulations
Contrary to common belief, Pennsylvania does regulate e-bikes, with age (16 and older), speed and power limitations. But are they regulated enough?
No! E-bikes are too powerful, and too fast!
No! Helmets should be required.
The laws are fine. Enforcing them is the problem. People are too reckless.
State law can only do so much. Local laws need to be tougher.
Let 'em alone! E-bikes aren't a problem.
