Heavy rains forced cancellation of play Saturday at the Youth Legion Western Regional Tournament in Punxsutawney.
Marion Center suffered a 3-2 loss at the hands of Connellsville in its tournament opener earlier Saturday, while host Punxsutawney was trailing Monroeville 2-0, when play was halted with two outs in the top of the second with Monroeville batting.
The game will now resume 9:00 AM on Sunday, and other games will follow. We know Marion Center will now play its second game in pool play tomorrow at 1:00 PM vs. Millcreek. That game was originally scheduled for a 10 AM start.
