The Altoona Curve lost to the Binghamton Rumble Ponies 7-1 last night at PNG field.
After waiting over an hour due to the rain that came through, the Curve got their only run in the first inning off a Mason Martin double that scored Jonah Davis, marking Martins 50th RBI on the season. Binghamton responded with four runs in the top of the second, and Mark Vientos had a pair of solo home runs for the ponies. Osvaldo Bido took the loss.
The Curve and the Rumble Ponies continue their series today, with Omar Cruz scheduled to start for Altoona and Cole Gordon to start for Binghamton.
