In addition to another school bus accident reported yesterday, a second accident was called in just 20 minutes later at 8:50 AM for a crash involving a tractor-trailer truck and a car on Route 22 in east Wheatfield Township. At least one person was injured. Armagh, Clyde and Brush Valley fire departments, Citizens’ Ambulance and State Police were dispatched at the time.
At 12:23 a crash was reported on Route 210 in North Mahoning Township. Perry Township and Plumville firefighters were dispatched along with State Police from the Punxsutawney barracks and Citizens’ Ambulance to the scene.
The fourth crash of the day was reported at 2:29 PM on Route 403 south in East Wheatfield Township. Armagh and Clyde fire departments were called out again along with Citizens’ Ambulance and State Police. The final crash yesterday was at 3:08 PM, with a crash on South 6th Street in White Township. State Police and Citizens’ were joined by members of the Indiana Fire Association in that call.
There were also two storm-related calls last night. One was in Green Township as fire crews from Commodore dealt with a tree down on Route 286 East at 9:23. And Clymer Volunteer Fire Department last night was called out at 9:44 PM for a utility lines down call on Tanoma Road in Rayne Township.
