Ronald C. Freed, 51 of Blairsville, PA, passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2026 in Chardon, OH. He was born September 25, 1975 in Butler, PA.
Ron was a Blairsville High School Class of 1994 graduate. Ron was a self-employed drilling consultant having recently worked for Wampum Hardware. He was a member of the Coral-Graceton Sportsman’s Club, Red Barn Sportsman’s Club, Jackson Township Sportsman’s Club, Monroe Furnace and Belle Vernon Masonic Lodge. Ron enjoyed hunting, splitting wood and spending time with his long-time companion, Brenda and his niece, Alivia, whom he was raising.
He is survived by his fiancée, Brenda (Cornell) Tedjeske, Blairsville, PA; father, Ronald Freed, Avonmore, PA; brother, David Freed & wife, Melissa, Coral, PA; brother, Gregory Freed & wife, Amy, Aultman, PA; step-son, Nathan Tedjeske & wife, Jessica, WY; nieces & nephews: Alivia, Caleb, Joshua, Clark, Dallas, Roman & Memphis Freed and Zack, Whitney & Meranda Shaffer; grandchildren: August & River Tedjeske and several aunts, uncles, cousins & friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Jane (King) Freed and sister, Tina Marie King.
The family will receive friends at the Ferguson Funeral Home & Monument Company, 25 W. Market St. Blairsville, PA 15717 on Tuesday, November 10, 2026 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. A funeral service will be held in the Ferguson Funeral Home & Monument Company on Wednesday, November 11, 2026 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Colin McKnight officiating. Interment will be held in the Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, Pennsylvania.
