All quiet in Steeler Land yesterday as the team had the day off. Not much will be done this week with the Steelers enjoying their bye week. In fact, it’s more of a bye week this year than ever before as Mike McCarthy gave the team the entire week off. In the past, Mike Tomlin had the team practice for a couple of days before giving them off from Thursday through the weekend.
The front office is certainly not quiet. The NFL trade deadline is next Tuesday and the Steelers may be shopping for a wide receiver.
