At last night’s Indiana County Municipal Emergency Services Authority meeting, Indiana County Commissioner Mike Keith announced that he will step back from his role with the group.
Keith had been the Indiana County At-Large representative, but board president Jonathan Smith said that Keith currently has a lot going on in his role as Commissioner.
They plan on putting together a short-list for next meeting for people to take his position on the board.
The ICMESA board also approved an amendment to the bylaws concerning delinquency collections. Smith said that the measure is needed to address collections, but the group would rather see people pay the fee. He added that the process would be further refined to pursue other types of collection efforts that can be taken.
