Indiana residents will get the chance to see the new Jimmy Stewart biopic in a special preview showing.
On November 5th, one day before the film premieres nationwide, “Jimmy” will be shown at the Tuxedo Cinemas at the Indiana Mall at 6:30. In an interview on Indiana in the Morning this morning, Laura Herrington with the Indiana County Tourist Bureau said they are happy that Stewart’s family is pleased with the film.
The movie stars KJ Apa as Jimmy Stewart and follows his career as he moved from Hollywood actor to the Army Air Corps in World War II, and how it impacted his life after he returned home.
The Indiana County Tourist Bureau will have a special giveaway for attendees to the Thursday showing. Tuxedo Cinemas and the Indiana Mall are also planning on ways to make the evening special. That information is expected to be released soon.
After the preview screening, the movie is expected to run in Indiana for at least two weeks. The film is being distributed nationwide by Fathom Events.
