A remarkable defensive achievement for the IUP women’s soccer team yesterday. With both of their goaltenders unavailable, the Crimson Hawks limited UPJ to just three shots, only one on goal, and shut out the Mountain Cats, 4-0.
Senior position players Adi Myers, Emma Hays, and Melody Leiva shared the duties in the net. Myers made the save. Meanwhile, Ava Geishauser scored two goals, and Kat Morgan and Paige Fausey both scored as well, Fausey netting her first career goal.
