The Steelers have listed cornerback Joey Porter Jr. as questionable for today’s game against the Bengals, which kicks off at one o’clock. Porter has missed all of training camp and the first two games of the regular season, originally with a back injury and subsequently for conditioning purposes. He also has been negotiating for a new contract, but that ended in Week One, as the Steelers do not negotiate during the season. Porter said last week that when he is healthy, he intends to play. He is under contract for this season.
Also questionable for today are cornerback Jamel Dean and wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr.
The Steelers have signed running back Travis Homer to the active roster and elevated running back Lew Nichols and defensive back Doneiko Slaughter from the practice squad for today’s game.
Third-round draft choice Gennings Dunker has been placed on the injured reserve list with a knee injury.
