An Indiana man is facing charges of burglary, criminal trespass and loitering for an incident on Wednesday morning.
Indiana Borough Poilice officers were sent out at 3:44 AM to the 300 block of Grant Street for a report of trespass. Officers found a man got in through an unsecured front door, but fled when the resident inside saw them. Later in the day, a resident in the 400 block of Grant said that the same suspect tried to enter their home through a sliding back door, but was unsuccessful. In both incidents, the victims were able to provide security video.
The following day, the suspect was identified as 24-year-old Jamie White Jr. and he was taken into custody at his home. He is now in Indiana County Jail on $25,000 bond and is awaiting a preliminary hearing on October 1st.
