The Steelers’ players had the day off yesterday but there was still a lot going on at the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex.
After the Detroit Lions signed safety Bishop Fitzgerald from their practice squad, the Steelers worked out free agent defensive backs Beau Brade, Austin Brown and Dan Jackson yesterday. No signings have been announced.
Two former practice squad players have returned to Pittsburgh. Ex-Giants wide receiver Isaiah Hodgkins and former Colts cornerback Darius Rush have re-joined the Steelers.
Practice today is scheduled for 11:55 AM.
