Today is the Homecoming celebration for River Valley School District and there will be a parade in Blairsville today.
The annual parade will start at 5:00 tonight and start at the Diamond along West Market Street and will head east onto East Market Street and then to Grandview Avenue and end at Ernie Widmar Field. Blairsville Borough Police say that East and West Market Streets will be closed to traffic and posted no parking for the duration of the parade.
