Along with the crash in Indiana Borough, first responders dealt with five other crashes yesterday.
The first was before the crash on Wayne Avenue at 7:20 AM as Iselin Fire Department was called to Armstrong County for a crash on Route 156 and Girty Road at 7:20 AM. At 1:47 PM, the third crash of the day was reported on Route 422 East in Cherryhill Township. Cherryhill Township firefighters were sent to the scene along with Citizens’ Ambulance and State Police. The fourth crash was at 5:32 as Commodore Fire Department and QRS teams were sent along with state police and Citizens’ to a location on Route 286 in Green Township.
The fourth brought fire crews from Blairsville and Blacklick along with Citzens, Mutual Aid ambulance, Homer City QRS and State Police to a location on Old William Penn Highway at 7:58 PM. The final crash on Wednesday was on Route 22 in Westmoreland County, and Blairsville and Blacklick fire departments were sent at 9:47 PM along with Citizens’ Ambulance.
