McCarthy gave the team the weekend off. They least practice on Thursday.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has agreed to a new four-season contract extension that runs through the 2030 season. The NFL does not release salary figures, but sources report that it’s worth about $300 million, or as high as $75 million per year. But it is 95 percent performance-based, meaning its value is tied to the league’s revenue over the four years.
Goodell will have served as NFL commissioner for 24 years at the end of his newest deal.
