Titus Dumitru had three hits for the second game in a row and drove in four runs, while Murf Gray homered and drove in three in a 7-5 Altoona win over Binghampton. Keiner Delgado had three hits and stole two bases for the Curve.
Gray’s home run was his fifth with the Curve and his 28th of the season between Bradenton, Greensboro, and Altoona. He leads all Pirates minor leaguers with 123 hits and is second in the Pirates system in homers, trailing Greensboro’s Jhonny Severino’s 29.
Nick Dombkowski threw five innings and allowed just two base-runners, on back-to-back singles in the second. He struck out seven.
