Indiana and Hempfield have played some very competitive gold matches in the last few years and they opened Section play in Greensburg yesterday with another close one, with Indiana coming up with a nine-stroke victory.
The Indians shot a combined 205, led by medalist Chace Force’s 38. Will Steve shot 40, Ryan Bell 41, Logan Okopal 42, and Beau Raykes 44.
Indiana is 3-0 and will play another Section match today, against Greensburg Salem at the Indiana Country Club.
