Tuesday night, Indiana Borough Council approved advertising a new version of the borough Zoning Ordinance and the Zoning Map.
Both items remained unchanged from what was proposed during a public hearing on August 4th. Council Vice President Kaycee Newell said one of the major changes was the introduction of a “neighborhood commercial” zone.
Final approval will come at a future meeting.
Council also approved advertising the amendments to the planning section and the borough Subdivision And Land Development Ordinance to bring them into alignment with the Municipalities Planning Code. The amendments will bring them into alignment with the municipalities planning code.
