It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rebecca “Becky” Eggler, whose beautiful life and spirt left this world on August 3, 2026, at the age of 73. She was born on October 20, 1952, the daughter of Alvin Sr. and Olivia Williams, in Johnsonburg, PA. Becky was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister and aunt. While she fiercely loved her family, the title of aunt was a badge she wore with honor and was affectionally known as “Aunt Becky” to any and everyone who met her.
Becky’s greatest joy in life was spending time with her family and friends. There wasn’t a person, baby, child or animal that didn’t fall in madly in love with her. Her spirit and love for life were infectious. Anyone who was ever in her orbit was no doubt impacted immensely by how much love, affection and pure joy could come out of such a tiny package. She believed that family was everything and everyone was always welcome – the more the merrier! Becky was your biggest champion, cheer section and confidant. Our hearts are broken, but we take comfort in knowing that love like hers never truly leaves. It will live on through our family, traditions, and in every life she touched.
Becky is survived by her husband Gary Eggler of Indiana, PA, her daughter Erika Eggler (Joe Hummel) of Pittsburgh, PA, her siblings Alvin Williams (Robin), Cynthia Williams, Beverly Tripodi (Chris) and Maria Lewis (Andy), and her nieces and nephews: Jessica, Nicole, Lindsey, Hunter, Keele, Olivia, Makayla, Gianna and Isaac.
In lieu of a viewing or funeral services, a celebration to honor Becky’s life will be held for friends and family to celebrate her beautiful time on earth and to share their fond memories of her. Further details regarding her celebration of life will be provided at a later date. Donations in her honor can be made to the Carmelite Nuns at lorettocarmel.org/donations.
The Eggler family was assisted by Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home & Crematory, where online condolences may be left by visiting rbfh.net.
