Jesus Castillo’s two-out bases-loaded flare dropped in for a game-winning walk-off single as Altoona topped Chesapeake 4-3 last night, earning a series split with the Baysox.
Titus Dumitru drove in the other three Curve runs with a two-run single in the sixth inning and an RBI double in the ninth before Castillo drove him in with the winning run.
Connor Oliver threw six strong innings for the Curve, giving up just a run on two hits and a walk while striking out five. Oliver has seventeen strikeouts in his last sixteen innings pitched.
The Curve start a six-game series at Erie tomorrow night.
