An online survey is being conducted by ARIN Intermediate Unit to help the Armstrong and Indiana County Career Pathways Partnership identify current and future workforce needs for emerging industries, including energy technology, manufacturing, healthcare, skilled trades, hospitality and related job sectors.
Fueled by a POWER planning grant from the Appalachian Regional Commission, the survey targets “business owners, HR professionals, hiring managers, or other staff” who are familiar with workforce needs.
As outlined last week by ARIN’s Susan Manz and Katie Monsour on Indiana In the Morning on WCCS, there are seven sections in the survey, which should take ten to fifteen minutes to complete.
Data collected will be compiled and reported only in summary form, with individual response kept confidential. The survey will be shared with regional education, workforce, and economic development partners.
ARIN asks that the surveys be completed by August 21st. Questions can be directed to kmonsour@iu28.org.
