A K-9 with the Jeannette Police Department is recovering after being bitten by another dog yesterday.
Officials say K-9 Diesel and his handler were assisting the FBI with an arrest at a home on Adams Avenue around noon. That’s when a dog in the suspect’s yard jumped the fence and bit Diesel, according to authorities.
He was taken to the vet and is expected to be ok.
