A McIntyre woman is facing charges of financial exploitation of an older adult or care-dependent person along with theft by deception and access device fraud for an investigation that started back in late February of this year.
Indiana Borough police started to look into a case access device fraud in the 1400 block of Water Street. Through the investigation, police determined that Alicia Hall was a caregiver and over the course of a few years, she used benefits that were not authorized to her for her own benefit.
Court documents show that she is awaiting a preliminary hearing. The charges were filed before district judge Anthony Sottile.
