Gas prices across the nation and the state continue to go up, according to AAA.
Over the last week, the national average went from $4.01 a gallon to $4.09. Last month,the national average was $3.86. Pennsylvania’s average this morning is $4.22, three cents higher than last week and 21 cents higher than last month. Indiana County’s average is $4.12 a gallon. The highest averages are in Armstrong and Westmoreland counties at $4.23. The lowest is Jefferson at $4.05.
Gasbuddy.com reports that Indiana’s prices are hovering at $4.09 a gallon, along with Kwik Fill and Sheetz on the Route 119 corridor near Homer City. Accent Fuels in the same area is $4.05. Clymer’s prices are the lowest as of this morning at $3.91 at both Sheetz and Kwik Fill.
