Kenneth Mark Marshall, 81, of Homer City, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2026 at St. Andrew’s Village, Indiana, PA.
He was born on March 23, 1945, and was the son of the late Carl and Mary (Anderson) Marshall.
Ken enjoyed a successful career as an engineer with FMC, and he retired as research and development director. A proud United States Navy veteran, Ken served as an air traffic controller aboard the USS Kearsarge off the coast of Vietnam.
In retirement he, with his wife, started Next Life Farm, and was a founding member of the Indiana Farmer’s Market. Ken also co-founded Aultman Watershed Association and served as its president.
He is survived by his loving wife, Beth Ann (Conte) Marshall; his sons, Daniel Marshall and his wife, Vanessa, of Gainesville, Florida, and Alex Marshall of Washington, D.C. He is also survived by his beloved grandson, Lucas Marshall.
In addition to his parents, Ken was preceded in death by his brothers, Larry, Gary, and Denny Marshall.
Family and friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at Bowser Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Homer City, where a funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11 AM. Private interment in the Monongahela Cemetery.
He will be remembered for his service to his country, his dedication to his work, and the love he had for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
