While the area is now out of the air quality advisories, another weather-related issue is coming into effect.
A flood watch was issued for Indiana, Westmoreland, Armstrong and Jefferson Counties until midnight tonight. Strong thunderstorms are expected for the rest of the day and into tonight, and excessive runoff could result in the flooding of creeks, streams, rivers, and other low-lying flood-prone areas.
People are advised to continue to monitor forecasts later today for any further announcements. Stay with us on the website and on the air for the latest from AccuWeather.
