Gas prices are rising, both across the country and Pennsylvania.
That’s according to Triple- A (AAA), who reports that the national average price for a gallon of gas as of this morning is $3.98. In the commonwealth, the average price is at $4.10, which is 10 cents higher than the average last week, and almost a dollar higher than the average at this time a year ago.
Indiana County’s average as of this morning is $4.08 per gallon. Of the surrounding counties, Jefferson remains the lowest at $4.09, while Armstrong remains the highest at $4.19.
In Indiana Borough and White Township, prices hover around $4.10. The lowest price in the area is at Kwik Fill in Center Township at $3.89, followed by Accent Fuels at $3.97.
