A preliminary hearing is scheduled today for an Indiana man charged with two counts of aggravated assault connected with a domestic violence incident in Indiana Borough last month.
Court documents show 33-year-old Timothy Austin will go before District Judge Anthony Sottile this morning. Indiana Borough Police filed the charges after an investigation on June 8th at a home in the 1200 block of Philadelphia Street. The victim, an un-named woman, told police that she got into an argument when he reportedly choked her and threatened to kill her. Police found her with a cut on her leg.
On top of aggravated assault, Austin is charged with possession of an instrument of crime.
