AIR QUALITY ALERT ISSUED FOR INDIANA COUNTY, SURROUNDING REGION

From the US National Weather Service

More wildfire smoke from Canada and Minnesota is expected to move into the region tomorrow. At first this smoke will be aloft but through the day, more smoke will sink to the surface and as it does, air quality will quickly degrade. An Air Quality Alert has been issued from 12 AM tonight through 12 AM Thursday night.

The long-awaited bike-pedestrian bridge across Route 22 is now open! What do you think?

I love it! It will help bring more economic activity to Indiana County!
I love it! It's much needed for the safety of folks to link the trails and access both sides of that busy highway.
I love it for both of the reasons listed above (as long as they maintain it.)
It's not going to be the economic boon they're saying it will be.
Not enough people will use it to have an effect on safety.
It will not be maintained and will fall into disuse rather quickly.
