Pennsylvania’s Property Tax and Rent Rebate Program is still accepting applications after the deadline was extended through December 31st.
The program, funded by the Pennsylvania Lottery, helps eligible seniors, widows and widowers, and people with disabilities with rebates ranging from $380 to $1000. Treasurer Stacy Garrity says more than $224 million has already been distributed to over 372,000 Pennsylvanians this year. Homeowners and renters with annual incomes up to $480,110 may qualify, with half of Social Security income excluded from the calculation.
