The Indiana Area school board on Monday night will continue preparations for the new school year, voting on a number of service and professional agreements, guidelines for attendance and behavior, and revisions to the Student/Parent Athletic Handbook and Code of Conduct.
There are also some administrative personnel items on the agenda, including a new Senior High assistant principal, an elementary school counselor, a school psychologist, and more. Plus, there is a motion to transfer the duties of Safety & Security Coordinator to Athletic Director Dan Roan -with salary adjustments – and to add the position of Technology Coordinator, with current MIS Manager Wes Matthews named to fill it, and the position of MIS manager left vacant.
Indiana’s is the only area school board meeting scheduled this week.
