Today, Mack Park in Indiana will be the hub of activity for Independence Day as the YMCA will host it’s 11th annual Star Spangled Celebration.
This year will be special for the celebration as at the end of the day, YMCA CEO Eric Neal says someone will be $10,000 richer.
Mark Park will open at noon today for the celebration, with a vendor show and kid zone open for all. On stage providing musical entertainment will be Hot Weather Holiday at 1:00 PM, Ellie Pangonis with Almost Gone at 3:00 and the Backstage Buffet band at 5:00. The headline performer on the Grandstand at 7:30 is Jarrod Barry. The fireworks show sponsored by Colonial Motors will begin at 9:45.
Admission to the festival is $3 per person or $10 for the whole family.
