As the ridge axis weakens over the Ohio River Valley in the next 24 hours, we anticipate the return of severe thunderstorms starting tomorrow afternoon and continuing into Saturday.
The Storm Prediction Center has outlined a ‘Slight’ risk (2 out of 5) for our region across both days, primarily due to the potential for damaging wind gusts. We encourage the public to remain weather-aware throughout the holiday weekend.
