Ellen B. Fayak, 97 of Baltimore, MD died Thursday, June 25, 2026. Born in Baltimore, December 9, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Carl Liebeck and Catherine (McManus) Liebeck. She was the widow of Kenneth A. Fayak who died August 20, 2019. They had been married for 67 years.
As a devout catholic, Ellen was a member of St. Clement Church in Lansdowne, MD. She was a loving wife and mother who helped to raise a family of four children, all of whom she dearly loved.
Her surviving children are Barbara Fayak-Galka (Walter), Catonsville, MD; Teresa Base, (Carl “Bud”), Baltimore, MD; Catherine Roberts (Thomas), Baltimore, MD; Sandra Greene (Randy), Clymer, PA. She is also remembered by 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and by her sister-in-law, Hanny Liebeck.
In addition to her parents and husband, Ellen was preceded in death by siblings: Carl H. Liebeck, Jr. and Marie Carrigan.
Visitation will be on Tuesday afternoon from 4 to 6 PM at Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home & Crematory in Indiana. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday morning at 10 AM at the Church of the Resurrection, Clymer. Rev. Craig Alexander, celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Starford.
