In Senior Legion baseball, Homer City Legion Post 493 was held to just two hits and lost for the first time this season, 9-2, to Pittsburgh 14th Ward. The 5-1 Bearcats fell behind 5-0 after two, scored two in the fourth, then gave up four in the sixth.
Nash Budner and Braden Bonatch had the two hits for Post 493, which will play at Latrobe at six o’clock this evening.
