County officials are working to draw in new residents with the launch of the “You Belong In Westmoreland” campaign.
County leaders are partnering with the Go Laurel Highlands organization in the effort to boost Westmoreland’s workforce. The campaign includes promotional videos and other materials highlighting the positives of Westmoreland County, including relatively low tax rates and numerous outdoor amenities.
County commissioners say jobs are plentiful too, with many positions in the area’s growing industrial sector going unfilled.
