Budget season continues for area school districts with the Homer-Center School Board tonight.
The Homer-Center budget comes out to $21,709,346 and will increase real estate taxes by 1.75%, taking the rate to 18.2639 mills. Last year, the Homer-Center board increased taxes by 3%.
Also on the agenda for tonight is a resolution that will call for increased state funding, an agreement with the Open Door for three years and a memorandum of understanding with the Homer-Center Educators Association concerning corrections and additions regarding supplemental positions in the collective bargaining agreement.
The meeting will start tonight at 7:30 at the district board room.
