A call for utility lines down in Clymer Thursday afternoon turned into a brushfire call.
Clymer fire crews were called to the intersection of Jefferson and Harrison Streets in Clymer Borough just before 1 p.m.. Clymer fire officials said that a tree had fallen on power lines, taking down multiple poles and sparking a brush fire. Marion Center, Commodore, Cherryhill, Indiana and Pine Township fire departments were called to the scene for assistance.
There is currently no word on how much land was damaged, but no injuries were reported.
