A paving project on Route 85 is set to get underway next Monday.
PennDOT says that the project that will run from June 15th to July 30th includes milling, paving, shoulder work and guiderail updates between the Indiana-Armstrong County line and Line Street in Rural Valley. Lane restrictions will be in place during that time, with flaggers out to direct traffic. All the work is weather dependent and drivers should expect delays and use caution in the work zone.
Derry Construction out of Latrobe is completing the project, which carries an $8.1 million price tag, and involves multiple paving projects. The entire project will wrap up later this year.
