The final practice of the Steelers’ Organized Team Activities is today, and the team won’t practice as a group again until July 29th at Saint Vincent College in Latrobe. Reporting day is July 28th.
Coach Mike McCarthy and his staff will hold “rookie school” next Monday through Wednesday for classroom work.
The Steelers yesterday signed cornerback Daryl Porter and wide receiver Joaquin Davis, and released center Cal Adomitis and offensive tackle Aiden Williams. Porter was on the Steelers’ practice squad much of last year and played in the Week 16 game at Detroit. Davis spent most of last season on the Vikings’ practice squad.
