The developers behind a proposed Springdale data center are sharing some more information on the project with residents.
A consultant for Allegheny DC Property and some of the engineers behind the planned build at the former Cheswick Generating Station site met with citizens for a meeting yesterday evening. Some in attendance shared concerns over noise, power consumption, and water usage at the facility, many of the same concerns that are being brought up around data centers nationwide.
The full application for the build should be submitted to Allegheny County officials by the end of the week.
