The Penns Manor school board will meet tonight for a work session. On the agenda for tonight is the proposed 2026-27 budget.
The district has been working to reduce a massive budget deficit. At last month’s meeting, the board approved a budget that contained a $724,000 deficit and a 4.8% tax increase, but they would continue to try to reduce the deficit in an effort to lower any anticipated tax hikes.
The board will also discuss tonight their agreement with Citizen’s Ambulance Service and a painting contract for the bus port and cross canopy and other professional painting services.
The board will hold a voting meeting next week.
