Westmoreland County commissioners are approving a payment to settle a lawsuit filed by a man who says he was abused by a corrections officer.
Keith Lilliock says that in 2023, a guard at the Westmoreland County prison removed him from his cell, took him behind a counter and beat him. A 20-thousand-dollar settlement has been approved.
Lilliock is currently awaiting trial in a case where he is accused of groping an eleven-year-old girl.
