Charges are pending against two young men from the area who are accused of drug possession following a traffic stop in Jefferson County on Friday night, and a 16-year-old girl who was in the car with them has been listed as a victim.
State police in Punxsutawney pulled over a car on Heathrow Road in Summerville. The driver was determined to be under the influence and in possession of a controlled substance. His male passenger had a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. The girl was not listed as having anything illegal on her.
The two males in the car were an 18-year-old from Home, and an 18-year-old from Seward. The girl is from Summerville.
