No injuries were reported for a structure fire call in Indiana Borough Saturday morning.
The call went out around 8:30 AM at a three-level apartment house at 911 School Street. Indiana Fire Association members responded along with Indiana Borough Police. Fire officials said that the fire was a small garbage fire on a back porch, possibly started by a cigarette butt. Everyone got out safely, and police officers and a member of the game commission who was in the area put the fire out with extinguishers.
Fire crews remained on-scene to ventilate the smoke.
