The Altoona Curve gave up five runs in the bottom of the 5th en route to an 8-3 loss to the New Hampshire Fisher Cats.
Matt Ager had a great start for the Curve, giving up two runs in four innings in his fifth start, striking out two and walking three. Outfielder Ivan Brethowr slugged his first Double-A homer in the defeat, a solo shot to start the third inning. Javier Rivas slugged his sixth homer of the season in the top of the ninth.
