A Northern Cambria man will spend up to five years in state prison after pleading guilty to drug trafficking in Indiana Borough.
64-year-old Charles Wilcox was sentenced Wednesday to serve between two and five years behind bars. He pleaded guilty in January to possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.
Authorities say the Indiana Borough Police Department and the Indiana County Drug Task Force conducted an investigation at a property on the 200 block of Philadelphia Street. After obtaining a search warrant, officers reportedly found narcotics, cash believed to be from drug sales, and other evidence of drug trafficking.
District Attorney Robert Manzi says the case reflects months of investigative work by local law enforcement.
