Indiana Borough has set up new “No Turn on Red” signs throughout the Downtown Indiana Corridor.
The added signs and traffic rules are part of the recent traffic and pedestrian safety initiative. The signs are not active now, as the covers are still in place for the time being. Indiana borough police are also reminding people that a four-way red light system is also in the works for many of the intersections in Downtown Indiana.
This is in response to traffic studies performed after the deaths of four people in two incidents along the Philadelphia Street Corridor in 2025.
