A 74-year-old Punxsutawney man is facing a retail theft charge after police said he stole food and beverages from a local grocery store over a three-week period.
According to court documents, cited by ExploreJeffersonPa.Com, Carl James Verdill allegedly took prepared meals, produce, canned goods and drinks from Punxsy Hometown Market on multiple occasions between April 17 and May 7, totaling $175.56 in stolen merchandise.
