The Pirates bullpen faltered once again and allowed the Cubs to break a ten-game losing streak with a rout against the team that routed them the previous night.

Pittsburgh’s bullpen now has a combined 4.13 ERA, ranking 11th in the National League. The collapse in the seventh inning stopped a streak of 12 innings without allowing a run.
The four-game series wraps up tonight at PNC Park. Paul Skenes looks to rebound from the Pirates 5-2 loss to Toronto over the weekend. He will start tonight. (6-4, 3.00 ERA, 65 strikeouts).
